Chalet Sapphire in Morzine, France really is the ultimate super luxury ski chalet – designed without any compromise, and part of an exclusive collection, it eclipses all others as a new concept in luxury property development.
Chalet Sapphire, new for the 2018/19 winter ski season has a location that is one of a kind. A few moments from the centre of Morzine the gated grounds offer exceptional access to the Portes du Soleil ski area as well as privacy and stunning views. Offering 720m2 of floor space the chalet sleeps up to 12 people in six double bedrooms.
The stunning and spacious spa and wellness area features an indoor swimming pool with massage and counter current jets as well as a view of the mountains. Then there’s the Hamman, ice chamber and spa. Outside, guests can relax in the large sunken hot tub and the barrel sauna with views over the resort. Alongside the fantastic spa facilities there is a well-equipped gym, and forest trails starting at the foot of the garden.
Back inside and the bar, complete with pool table, opens directly onto the large terrace - an incredible spot to watch the sun setting over the mountains. Enjoy a glass of champagne and enjoy the warmth of the sunken fire pit.
The main living area features exposed reclaimed wood that brings all the warmth and character of a traditional alpine lodge, but here it is beautifully crafted into a modern luxury ski chalet.
Adjacent to the main living area is the dining room, set around a large handmade Balinese teak table. Here there are more stunning views towards the Pointe de Nyon, this time from an inset balcony. There’s a professional closed kitchen for the ‘serious’ work, and an open show kitchen for service and chef demonstrations.
The two stunning master suites feature high ceilings that show off the wonderful mountain views. Each room has its own USP, some have dressing rooms or freestanding baths and others have walk-in drench showers. All 6 bedrooms feature a super-king bed that can split to twin beds as required, making the chalet perfect for either families or groups of friends.
For larger groups there is the added benefit of Chalet Little Gem, which is located just adjacent to the main chalet and offers a further two en-suite bedrooms and a generous open plan living space. At 135m2 this isn’t simply an ‘annexe’, it’s a chalet in its own right and allows up to 16 guests to enjoy this wonderful Alpine chalet. There is an additional charge for the Chalet Little Gem - please enquire for further details.
The chalet is available with dinner on 5 or 6 nights as well as on a Bed & Breakfast basis - please enquire for further details.
